Michael Crow is a Senior Vice President and CFO of Sequel Holdings, L.P. Prior to joining Sequel Holdings in March 2006, he was a Managing Director of Growth Capital Partners, LP, a Houston-based investment bank focused on providing M&A advisory and capital raising services for middle-market companies in the Southwest. Mr. Crow also was head of GCP’s Dallas office and head of its Equity Sponsors Group. Prior to joining GCP in 2001, Mr. Crow was a Managing Director for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation, a full-service Wall Street investment banking company. He joined DLJ in 1988 as an associate in New York and moved to the DLJ Dallas office in 1990. While at DLJ, he focused on capital raising services (public and private offerings of equity and debt securities), M&A advisory services (sellside and buyside), recapitalization transactions and merchant banking investment activities. Although primarily a generalist, Mr. Crow spent considerable time in the food and beverage and consumer products industries.
Mr. Crow received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with minors in Mathematics and Economics from Southern Methodist University in 1982. He also received a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Colgate Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in 1988.
Mr. Crow also serves as a board member of the SMU Athletic Forum, the sponsor of the Doak Walker Award and supporter of athletic scholarships and operating initiatives at SMU, and of ClubTec Corporation, a developer and marketer of software products for the private club industry.
