John W. Madden
John W. MaddenJohn Madden founded Sequel Holdings and has served as its Managing Partner since its formation in 2002. Prior to founding Sequel Holdings, Mr. Madden served in various capacities with Dean Foods Company and its predecessor and affiliated companies. From 1990, when he joined a predecessor company of Dean Foods, through 2002, he was actively involved in the growth of the company from approximately $50 million in sales to over $9 billion in sales. During that time, he was involved in more than 50 acquisitions and multiple public and private capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Dean Foods, Mr. Madden worked as a financial analyst with Bankers Trust in New York.

Alan J. Bernon
Alan BernonAlan Bernon is a founding partner of Sequel Holdings and has served as an Advisory Partner and investor since its formation in 2002. He is also Senior Advisor and President of the Affiliate Division of Dairy Farmers of America. Prior to joining DFA in 2008, Mr. Bernon was President of the Dairy Group of Dean Foods Company. Dean Foods Company acquired his family businesses, Garelick Farms and Franklin Plastics, in 1997 after he and his brother grew the combined business to approximately $400 million in annual sales.

Mr. Bernon held several executive positions with Dean Foods until 2008, contributing to its growth to approximately $10 billion in sales.

Michael CrowMichael Crow joined Sequel Holdings in 2006 as Senior Vice President and CFO. Prior to joining Sequel, Mr. Crow was a Managing Director of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation (1988-2000) and Managing Director of Growth Capital Partners, LP (2001-06).

Ronald H. Klein
Ronald H. KleinRon Klein joined Sequel Holdings in 2011 as Managing Director to lead Sequel’s effort in the Food & Beverage arena. Prior to joining Sequel, Mr. Klein held various senior level positions with Dean Foods Company, with responsibilities including mergers and acquisitions, strategy, capital markets, and operations of the cultured products division. Prior to joining Dean Foods in 1997, Mr. Klein was a financial analyst with Bear, Stearns & Co.

Lynn D. Rundle
Lynn D. RundleLynn Rundle joined Sequel Holdings in 2011 as an Operating Partner and will concentrate his efforts in the agribusiness and related food products sectors. Prior to joining Sequel, Mr. Rundle served as founder and CEO of 21st Century Grain Processing, a portfolio company of Sequel, from inception in 1997 through its successful sale in 2010. Mr. Rundle brings 30 years of experience in agribusiness and lends his expertise to the business operations of Sequel’s portfolio companies in these sectors.

Shravan Thadani
Shravan ThadaniShravan Thadani joined Sequel Holdings in 2012 as an Assistant Vice President. Prior to joining Sequel, Mr. Thadani was an associate with Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group (2010-2012), where he spent two years focused on middle market debt and structured equity investing; and a financial analyst with Houlihan Lokey (2008-2010).
