Sequel Holdings Adds Businesses to its Critical Process Systems Group

In June 2015, through its portfolio company, Critical Process Systems Group (“CPS”) (formerly Fab-Tech), Sequel acquired BioPharm Engineered Systems, Inc. (“BPES”). BPES provides custom engineered process separation and fluid handling equipment to the biotech, pharmaceutical, and clean industrial markets. Additionally, in July 2015, CPS acquired ENGVT. ENGVT is a Vermont-based engineering firm focused on the design and construction of process intensive industrial facilities, primarily in the semiconductor, mining, commercial and industrial markets.
As a result of these transactions, the CPS companies now represent a comprehensive group of seven manufacturing and engineering companies which design, build, and service critical process utilities. CPS provides innovative product solutions to customers in the semiconductor, life science, chemical processing, wastewater, industrial gas, mining, power generation and other industries.
